This sterling silver bolo was hancrafted and signed by Zuni American Indian artist Bobby Shack. This bolo tie features a center handcrafted thunderbird with intricate Mother of Pearl, Onyx, Turquoise and Coral inlay. Braided black leather rope cord makes up the rest of this bolo, and at each end of it are long, pointed tips. This unique piece is 37 inches in length and weighs 39.4 grams.
Bobby and Corraine Shack have been making jewelry together for many years, and both had famous jewelers in their family. Bobby's mother, Thomasine Shack, produced some of the most sought after pieces by collectors, as did Corraine's father, Blake Lesanse. Bobby and Corraine's famous mosaic inlay thunderbirds and hummingbirds are now coveted by collectors. Bobby and Corraine sign their work, "B C. SHACK, ZUNI."
